It all started in 2000, when Carlyn fell in love with the piano and, quite right after, started to write her own songs. Her first song, still buried up in her parent’s attic, about the sun and the moon, was not what one called a smash hit. However, her love for the instrument and songwriting were born – and that’s where the adventure started.
Although Carlyn was always told that music was ‘for fun’, she couldn’t really shake it off. After finishing her university degree, she left Holland to study at Point Blank Music School, where she spent several months figuring out her strenghts in music. Now, being back in Holland, she’s picked up her songwriting where she left off, hoping to release her first single later this year.
